Generate video from a text prompt, inside the console
Generate video directly from a text prompt without leaving the console — no separate app, no exporting context between tools.
The AI Video Generator turns a text description into a short video clip without leaving the chat interface. You describe the shot — subject, setting, lighting, and mood — and the request is sent to a text-to-video pipeline that tries a HuggingFace diffusion model first when a model key is configured. If that provider is unavailable, rate-limited, or unconfigured, the generator automatically falls back to a client-side path: it builds a sequence of seeded keyframe images and composites them in your browser using canvas and MediaRecorder into a short, Ken-Burns-style motion clip, so you still get a rendered result rather than an error. Either way, the finished clip previews inline in the same conversation, and you can refine the prompt and regenerate as many times as you like without switching tools.
Text-to-video quality depends on which backend serves your request. When a HuggingFace video model is configured it renders through that diffusion pipeline; otherwise it automatically falls back to a lighter client-side keyframe animation so the tool still works. That fallback is functional but lower-fidelity, which is why it’s labeled Beta rather than presented as a finished, uniform pipeline.
The generator automatically falls back to a client-side keyframe animation built from seeded images, rendered in your browser — you still get a clip, just via a different rendering path.
Clips are short-form by design — suited to social teasers, B-roll, and quick visual concepts rather than long-form video production.
Yes. Refine your prompt and regenerate in the same conversation thread until the result matches what you had in mind.
